IMPORTANT NOTICE

Some of the kittens and cats in the shelter may have been exposed to an upper respiratory infection (similar to a common cold). This cold will have to run it's course and all cats and kittens that we have for adoption will appear healthy but may come down with a cold a few days after adoption. We do not recommend anyone adopting a cat or kitten if you already have a cat or plan on letting your cat interact with other cats for a two week period after adoption. This cold virus is very contagious to other cats only, not dogs or people. For more information on feline respiratory viruses, go to Feline Respiratory Virus

Spay and neuter coupons from the City for dogs and cats are available with the purchase of your 2009 Dog/Cat Registration tag. Unfortunately, all the dog coupons have been used for 2010. There are still a few cat coupons available. They are $115 coupon for a spaying a female cat or $65 Coupon for neutering a male cat. Unfortunately these coupons cannot be issued for animals that are in the care of the shelter.
